University of Maryland Institutional Biosafety Committee
Meeting Schedule

The University of Maryland Institutional Biosafety Committee will meet in 5112 Plant Sciences at 12:00 pm. The UM IBC meets monthly on the first Thursday of the month. Registrations must be submitted by the 20th of the month to be considered at the following month's meeting. Registration is available online.

PIs are reminded that many experiments involving rDNA require registration and IBC approval prior to initiation. To check whether your experiments fall in this category, please see Summary of the NIH Guidelines and PI's Responsibilities.
